- Anchorage: The area around Koukoumitsa offers safe anchorage for sailboats and small vessels, with calm waters and a sandy seabed. Anchoring is possible at depths of approximately 3–6 meters.
- Footbridge: The islet is connected to the mainland by a curved footbridge, built in 1992, allowing pedestrian access from Saltini Beach.
