Kefalos is an uninhabited islet located within the Ambracian Gulf, to the north and across from Vonitsa. It is D-shaped, and there is evidence indicating that it was inhabited during the Roman period. Visible ruins of dwellings can still be found on the island.

Access by boat
- Anchorage: The beach has a sandy seabed with depths of approximately 3–5 meters, making it ideal for anchoring small and medium-sized vessels. The calm waters of the Ambracian Gulf provide a safe environment for mooring boats.
- Facilities: The beach is unorganized, with no infrastructure such as piers or water and electricity supply. It is recommended to bring all necessary provisions with you.
