Approaching Laskaras Fortress by boat is possible, but it requires caution and good preparation due to the coastline’s topography and the lack of infrastructure.
Description for Boat Approach:
- Location: The fortress is situated on a hilltop, on the Laskaras peninsula, to the east of the Ambracian Gulf, between Preveza and Vonitsa.
- Sea Access: You can approach the area by boat through the Ambracian Gulf. The nearest safe anchorage is the Laskara beach or the small cove near the Pogonitsa Fish Hatchery.
- Anchor Spot: Anchoring can be done in calm weather conditions at sandy depths of approximately 3–5 meters. There are no permanent anchorages or piers.
